FAQS
Any queries, questions, quibbles, or qualms? We will hopefully be able to answer them below:
-
The whole day will take place at Sophie’s parents’ house, Waterloo Lodge, LE16 8LU. It’s registered as a historic landmark (we know not why) on Google Maps- please make sure to leave a review so we can reach National Trust status.

East Midlands Railway have decided to carry out engineering works on the line to Market Harborough (lucky us!)
Which means the closest stations are Kettering (20 mins away) or Northampton (35 mins away). If you’re coming from London, there’s a direct train from Euston to Northampton, which is most likely your best bet. Please book a taxi in advance!
If you’re driving, please make sure to park at the top of the field- there will be signs on the day.
If you’re staying in a yurt, travel light as you’ll need to carry your bags down through the field.

The most convenient option would be to book a yurt. There will be loos but no showers; please bring a water bottle, torch, wellies, portable phone charger, and some breakfast.
We will be running a minibus service to the centre of Market Harborough and these hotels at the end of the evening.
The Three Swans (2 night minimum stay)
Otherwise, take a look on Airbnb/Booking.com if you’d prefer- please organise your own transport if you go down this route (unless you’re staying within walking distance of the Three Swans).

We’re afraid it’ll be a baby/child-free wedding. The wedding ceremony will be outside, and the main house will be locked, so it won’t really be a suitable environment for a little one.
Let us know if you need help sorting out childcare/a crèche etc.
